Heather Healy, DNP, FNP-BC, NEA-BC


Dr. Healy has been in healthcare for the past 20 years in numerous clinical and executive roles. She has served as Chief Nursing Officer, Vice President of Advanced Practice Providers, and Consultant to the State Board of Nursing in Arizona. Dr. Healy was responsible for designing and implementing new innovative types of patient care delivery, developed strategies to improve service and compliance with national standards, and served on national boards to improve healthcare and the profession of nursing. Dr. Healy is a clinically licensed Nurse Practitioner who maintains a clinical practice caring for college students on the Grand Canyon University campus. Dr. Healy is also a certified project manager that incorporates healthcare process improvementtools with tools in other industries to support excellence in care delivery.Currently, Dr. Healy is the Faculty and Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Grand Canyon University.
